July Monthly Meeting Recap
This month's meeting was held in the Medicinal Garden at our adopted spot on Warwick Tpk and Clinton Road. In addition to project updates, it was announced that Katie Hayes is taking an indefininte hiatus from her efforts with SWM. The majority of the meeting was a wonderful garden tour from the garden's founder, Robin Rose Bennett.

SWM Meeting Minutes - June 08
Project updates and new events plus two guest speakers: Gary Oppenheimer, a Master Gardener, a Rutgers Environmental Stewards Intern and a West Milford resident. Gary spoke to us about composting. Our second guest speaker was Bruce Barbour, the Environmental Agent for the Rutgers Cooperative Extension and statewide coordinator of the Rutgers Environmental Stewards.

This months agenda focused on last minute details on the first annual Highlands GreenFest. We also discussed the progress of the WM High School Environmental Club, the Communtiy Garden opening, new schedules for the Medicinal Garden, the upcoming second annual Pizza Tasting Contest, and more.

This months agenda was project updates, including Clean Up Day, the Community Garden, Medicinal Garden, Highlands GreenFest. Our guest speakers were Dr. Jim Conroy, the Tree Whisperer, & Ms. Basis Alexander from Plant Health Alternatives. They spoke to us about their work revitilizing tress.
